Initial firmware stabilization focuses on memory training and PCIe functionality for the X370 platform. Version v21 integrates AGESA 1.0.0.4a to improve DDR4 compatibility, while v22 resolves PCIe Hot-plug failures. Significant architecture maturity arrives in v23 with AGESA 1.0.0.6, optimizing performance for Ryzen 1000 series processors. Version v24 introduces "Above 4G Decoding" to support multi-GPU configurations and reduces system POST times.

Feature Maturity & Hardware Support

Mid-lifecycle updates expand processor support and refine storage compatibility. Version v28 implements AGESA 1.1.0.1 to enable Raven Ridge APUs, followed by v2A which updates AGESA 1.0.0.1a for upcoming CPU architectures.
