Initial firmware updates prioritize platform safety and memory training stability for the AM5 socket. Version v11 and v113[Beta] implement the critical AGESA 1.0.0.7a update, which hard-locks SoC voltage to 1.3V to prevent thermal damage on Ryzen 7000X3D processors. DDR5 compatibility is significantly improved in v13 and v132[Beta] via AGESA 1.0.0.7c, which resolves boot failures with high-speed modules and fixes ACPI S3 sleep state resume errors. Early EXPO stability and Bluetooth connectivity issues are addressed in v12 and v121[Beta].

Feature Maturity & Hardware Support

Mid-cycle updates expand hardware support and integrate key architectural features. Version v15 enables Ryzen 8000 series processors via AGESA 1.0.9.0, while v191[Beta] updates to AGESA 1.1.0.1 to patch the LogoFAIL vulnerability and enable support for 256GB total memory capacity. Ryzen 9000 "Granite Ridge" support arrives in v1F (AGESA 1.2.0.0a), which introduces Curve Shaper for advanced voltage/frequency tuning and patches CVE-2024-36877. Performance optimizations continue in v1G2[Beta] (AGESA 1.2.0.1), which mitigates the Sinkclose privilege escalation vulnerability and adds a "TDP to 105W" performance mode. Critical Security & Power Management

The latest firmware refines X3D performance and hardens system security against advanced threats. Version v1H2[Beta] (AGESA 1.2.0.2b) introduces Latency Killer to optimize thread scheduling and patches critical SMM vulnerabilities. Full support for Ryzen 9000X3D processors is established in v1J and v1J2[Beta] (AGESA 1.2.0.3a), which also optimizes single-rank and dual-rank memory compatibility in 2DPC configurations. Security is further tightened in v1L (AGESA 1.2.0.3e), addressing TPM out-of-bounds read vulnerabilities and validating 64GB DIMM support. Finally, v1M6[Beta] updates to AGESA 1.2.0.3g to resolve remaining stability issues with Ryzen 8000 processors.
