The B450I GAMING PLUS MAX WIFI firmware lifecycle began with version vB0, establishing baseline system functionality. Update vB1 expanded hardware compatibility to support newer audio chipsets. Version vB3 integrated AGESA 1.1.0.0 to provide initial enablement for Ryzen 5000 series processors. A significant architecture update arrived in vB4 (AGESA 1.2.0.0), which enabled Resizable BAR support for NVIDIA GPUs and optimized performance for Zen 3 CPUs. Stability was further reinforced in vB5, which updated the codebase to AGESA 1.2.0.2 to mitigate widespread USB connectivity dropouts and improve device compatibility on the AM4 platform.
