Following the vF8 launch, update vF10c integrated Microcode 0x112 to disable DLVR bypass mechanisms, enforcing strict voltage safety limits while simultaneously enabling Re-Size BAR and VT-d by default. This version also resolved specific OS hang-ups related to initial graphics driver installation. Subsequent update vF10d incorporated Intel Planned Release 4 (PR4) and Microcode 0x113, which optimizes Energy Performance Preference (EPP) grouping to improve core responsiveness within the Windows Balanced Power Plan.

Feature Maturity & Hardware Support

Mid-cycle updates introduced significant architectural improvements and performance tuning features. Version vF15 delivered a critical fix for Processor Power Management (PPM) logic via Microcode 0x114, resolving frame-time spikes in gaming workloads, and automatically enabled Low Latency modes when XMP is active. Update vF16b introduced a user-selectable MCU toggle between 0x113 and 0x114, while vF16c[Beta] added support for AORUS AI SNATCH. The transition to Intel MR1 in version vF16 integrated Microcode 0x117, which enhances signal integrity for high-speed CUDIMM DDR5 memory and enables the DLRM state for storage power savings.
