Feature Maturity & Hardware Support

Feature expansion in vFD introduces EZ-OC support specifically for co-branded AORUS and XPG DRAM modules. Version vFF broadens hardware compatibility to include Intel 120/120F processors and enables support for the AI TOP Utility v4.1.1. Memory compatibility is further refined in vFG to support specific ADATA 6000MHz 16GB modules, ensuring stability with high-speed memory configurations.

Critical Security & Power Management

Addressing processor longevity, vFD enforces Intel Default Settings and integrates Microcode 0x12B to mitigate Vmin Shift Instability by resolving elevated voltage requests during idle states. This mitigation path evolves in vFEd and vFE, which implement Microcode 0x12F to address edge-case voltage drifts and Microcode 0x3a to patch security vulnerabilities including INTEL-SA-01153. System hardening continues in vFF by enabling Pre-boot DMA Protection, VT-d, and IOMMU by default and updating the CSME to version 16.1.38.2676v4.1, while vFG mandates Secure Boot as the system default configuration.
