Subsequent updates focus on early architectural refinements, with version F3 integrating Microcode 0x11D to align with Intel specifications. Version F4 addresses critical UEFI vulnerabilities associated with LogoFAIL while introducing controls for GNA (Gaussian & Neural Accelerator) and SPD Write Disable to enhance memory module security. Support expands in version F5 to include the i9-14900KS processor, alongside updates to the Intel APO framework (v9.0.11405.42569) and optimizations to CEP (Current Excursion Protection) power settings for improved voltage regulation.

Feature Maturity & Hardware Support

Mid-cycle firmware updates prioritize processor longevity and memory performance. Version F6 implements Intel Default Settings as the standard configuration to ensure adherence to safe power limits, requiring manual intervention to enable GIGABYTE PerfDrive profiles. This release also integrates Microcode 0x12B, the definitive mitigation for Vmin Shift Instability, which encompasses the eTVB algorithm fixes of Microcode 0x125 and the voltage clamps of Microcode 0x129 to resolve elevated voltage requests during idle states. Memory compatibility is enhanced in version F6 and expanded in version F7b[Beta], adding EZ-OC support for co-branded AORUS x XPG DDR5 modules running at 6000MHz and 6400MHz.
