The initial firmware rollout focused on expanding processor compatibility and establishing security baselines for the X570S platform. Following the launch in version F1, update F2 integrated AGESA ComboV2 1.2.0.3 B to enable support for Ryzen 5000 G-Series APUs. Version F3 introduced significant architectural changes, including the implementation of Capsule BIOS protection and the default enablement of fTPM to satisfy Windows 11 requirements. This release also addressed critical vulnerabilities identified by SentinelOne. Support for the Ryzen 7 5800X3D was established in version F4a, which utilized AGESA 1.2.0.6 B and restored the Max CPU Boost Clock Override option for Vermeer processors.

Version F4 upgraded the firmware to AGESA 1.2.0.7, a critical update defined in the technical library as the fix for fTPM-induced stuttering in Windows environments. Version F5 advanced to AGESA 1.2.0.8, which optimized performance for the 5800X3D and mitigated vulnerabilities reported by Eclypsium Research. Security hardening continued in version F7 with the integration of AGESA 1.2.0.B; this update addressed multiple processor vulnerabilities and specifically patched the LogoFAIL UEFI image parsing exploit.

Critical Security & Power Management

Recent firmware revisions focus on mitigating high-severity security threats and finalizing platform stability. Version F8d incorporated AGESA 1.2.0.Cc to resolve the Sinkclose vulnerability (SMM Lock Bypass). Version F8g updated the codebase to AGESA 1.2.0.E to fix a microcode signature verification flaw (CVE-2024-36347). The development cycle concluded with version F8 (following betas F8h and F8i), which finalized AGESA 1.2.0.F. This release updates TPM-B firmware across Raven2, Picasso, Cezanne, Vermeer, and Renoir families and patches a critical TPM 2.0 out-of-bounds read vulnerability (CVE-2025-2884).
