This release also enables the Resource Priority Feature, optimizes memory compatibility, and resolves graphical artifacts within the BIOS Advanced Mode interface to ensure UI smoothness. Users are advised to utilize Windows 11 24H2 Enterprise (build 26100.2454+) for optimal performance with these changes. Subsequent update vFBc upgrades to Microcode 0x117, which enhances signal integrity for high-speed CUDIMM DDR5 memory and enables DLRM state for storage power savings.

Performance Tuning & Latest Features

Version vFA3b introduces the Intel MR3 maintenance release via Microcode 0x118, stabilizing the platform for Ultra Turbo Mode and Intel 200S Boost features while adding support for V-Color OLED memory. The stable release vFA3 further hardens platform security by enabling Pre-boot DMA Protection, VT-d, and IOMMU by default, alongside compatibility for AI TOP Utility v4.1.1 and V-COLOR XFinity+ modules. The latest firmware, vFA4, integrates Microcode 0x11B to enable official support for Core Ultra 2-series refresh processors and finalizes performance profiles. Additionally, vFA4 updates the CSME to version 19.0.5.2018v2.2 and enforces Secure Boot as the system default to mitigate boot-level vulnerabilities.
