Launch Stability & Compatibility

Following the initial platform launch in version F1, update F2 expands hardware compatibility to support the Intel Core i9-14900KS processor and integrates the Intel APO framework v9.0.11405.42569. This release also optimizes power delivery by refining CEP (Current Excursion Protection) settings to prevent system instability during high-current workloads. Version F5 further improves general system stability and compatibility across the platform.

Feature Maturity & Hardware Support

Version F4 introduces Intel Default Settings as the mandatory baseline configuration and integrates Microcode 0x12B to mitigate Vmin Shift Instability. This microcode update encompasses the eTVB algorithm fix (0x125) and the voltage clamp (0x129) to address elevated voltage requests during idle and light-load states. Additionally, version F4 enables EZ-OC support for co-branded memory modules, allowing for streamlined performance tuning.

Critical Security & Power Management

Updates F6c and F6 implement Microcode 0x12F to provide advanced mitigation for voltage drift risks and Microcode 0x3A to resolve security vulnerabilities, including INTEL-SA-01153 and INTEL-SA-01224. Version F7 significantly hardens platform security by enabling Pre-boot DMA Protection, VT-d, and IOMMU by default, while also updating the CSME to version 16.1.38.2676v4.1 and adding support for Intel 120/120F processors. Finally, version F8 establishes Secure Boot as the system default and validates compatibility for ADATA 6000MHz 16G memory modules.
