Launch Stability & Compatibility

Following the initial platform release (vF2), version vF3 resolves critical boot failures where systems equipped with RTX 3060 series graphics cards experienced blank displays during POST. This update also enables support for non-binary 24GB and 48GB memory modules to improve high-bandwidth compatibility. Version vF4 addresses security vulnerabilities reported by Eclypsium Research and introduces a selectable Microcode 0x104 option, allowing users to manually tune CPU Internal Vcore and Ring Voltage offsets. Storage and memory stability are further reinforced in vF6, which enables SPD write protection to correct JEDEC compliance issues with certain DDR modules.

Feature Maturity & Hardware Support

Version vF7 upgrades the firmware with Microcode 0x11D and introduces a redesigned user interface. Significant security hardening arrives in vF9, which mitigates LogoFAIL UEFI vulnerabilities and adds options for Gaussian & Neural Accelerator (GNA) and SPD Write Disable. Version vF10 expands hardware support to the Intel Core i9-14900KS and updates the Intel APO framework, while simultaneously optimizing CEP (Current Excursion Protection) power settings to balance performance with stability.

Critical Security & Power Management

Update vF12 implements Intel Default Settings as the mandatory baseline and integrates Microcode 0x12B, the root cause fix for Vmin Shift Instability that encompasses the earlier 0x125 eTVB algorithm patch and the 0x129 voltage clamp. The firmware culminates in vF13, which deploys Microcode 0x12F to mitigate remaining edge-case voltage drifts and "Always On" degradation risks. This final release also updates the Secure Boot database key and integrates Microcode 0x3A to resolve multiple security advisories, including INTEL-SA-01153 and INTEL-SA-01247.
