Critical voltage regulation safety is enforced in v1004, which updates to Microcode 0x112 to disable DLVR bypass mechanisms and defaults Intel Innovation Platform Framework (IPF) and VT-d to 'Enabled' for driver stability. Further optimization of the Windows Balanced Power Plan occurs in v1005, utilizing Microcode 0x113 to adjust Energy Performance Preference (EPP) grouping for improved core responsiveness.

Feature Maturity & Hardware Support

Update v1206 addresses gaming latency and frame-time spikes by correcting Processor Power Management (PPM) logic via Microcode 0x114, while also enabling Wi-Fi 7 (320MHz) support and CUDIMM Dual PLL modes. Memory subsystem performance is significantly expanded in v1404 and v1603, which introduce AEMP III to support high-density 256GB configurations at 5600MT/s and high-speed CUDIMMs up to 7000MT/s.
