Following the initial platform release in v0410, version v0606 integrates Microcode 0x114 to resolve Processor Power Management (PPM) logic faults, mitigating frame-time spikes and latency in gaming workloads. This update also enables regional support for Wi-Fi 7 (320MHz) and Wi-Fi 6E (6GHz) while introducing CUDIMM Dual PLL modes to stabilize memory frequencies exceeding 6000MHz. Version v0804 further refines the architecture by updating the Silicon Initialization Code to v0D.00.CC.50 and adding System Agent (SA) PCI Express L1 Substates to optimize link power management.

Feature Maturity & Hardware Support

Memory capabilities are significantly expanded in v0805 and v1001, introducing AEMP III to support high-density 256GB configurations at 5600MT/s and optimize 2-DIMM setups up to 7000MT/s. Versions v1203 and v1204 implement Microcode 0x117, which enhances signal integrity for high-speed CUDIMM DDR5 memory and enables the DLRM state to reduce storage power consumption during idle periods. The memory tuning suite is finalized in v1207 with the inclusion of DIMM Fit Pro. Long-term platform security is maintained through iterative Management Engine (ME) firmware updates, progressing from v19.0.0.1827 in v0606 to v19.0.5.2175 in v3002. Versions v1406 and v1606 focus on ME-driven system stability, while v1801 updates the Intel microcode to 0x11a to improve device compatibility. The firmware architecture is modernized in v3002 with an update to the AMI BIOS codebase version 5.32, ensuring alignment with the latest security protocols and processor performance requirements.
