This update integrates Microcode 0x114, which corrects Processor Power Management (PPM) logic to resolve frame-time spikes and latency issues in gaming workloads. Version v0606 also enables Wi-Fi 7 (320MHz) and Wi-Fi 6E spectrum support while introducing IDI Data Transfer Mode for integrated graphics. Power management is further refined in v0802, which adds SA-PCIe L1 Substates to optimize link power management and updates the Silicon Initialization Code to v0D.00.CC.50.

Feature Maturity & Hardware Support

Memory performance and device support are the primary focus of the mid-cycle updates. Version v0805 enables support for 256GB memory configurations at 5600MT/s and introduces the exclusive AEMP III feature for optimizing Kingston CUDIMM modules. This support is expanded in v1001, allowing 2-DIMM configurations to reach 7000MT/s via AEMP III. Update v1801 integrates Microcode 0x11a to enhance device compatibility. The roadmap concludes with v3002, which updates the AMI BIOS codebase and integrates Microcode 0x121. This final update modifies compatibility tables to support future Intel Core Ultra processor steppings and updates the ME to version 19.0.5.2175 for long-term stability.
