Following the initial platform release in v0237, update v0607 integrates AGESA 1.2.0.1a to mitigate the Sinkclose SMM Lock Bypass vulnerability and relocates cTDP 105W controls for improved accessibility. Firmware v0805 upgrades to AGESA 1.2.0.2, optimizing core-to-core communication to resolve inter-core latency issues on Ryzen 9000 processors. Further refinement in v0815 and v0816 introduces Turbo Game Mode via AGESA 1.2.0.2a, which optimizes thread scheduling and CCD parking logic to reduce latency in gaming workloads.

Feature Maturity & Hardware Support

Support for Ryzen 9 9000X3D series (9950X3D/9900X3D) is established in v1022, which also introduces AI Cache Boost to enhance compute performance. Memory overclocking capabilities are expanded in v1005[Beta] and v1006, enabling AEMP support for speeds up to 6800MT/s on 2-DIMM configurations. Update v1006 also integrates AGESA 1.2.0.3a Patch A to stabilize these high-speed memory profiles. Subsequent iterations, including v1057[Beta] (AGESA 1.2.0.3d) through v1087 (AGESA 1.2.0.3g), focus on enhancing compatibility for high-density memory modules.

Critical Security & Power Management

Security hardening is prioritized in v0825 (AGESA 1.2.0.2b), which patches critical SMM vulnerabilities (AMD-SB-7027) and resolves fan control bugs. Updates v1001[Beta] and v1006 address PeCoffLoader memory overflow issues and AMD Microcode Signature Verification vulnerabilities. Version v1063 implements AGESA 1.2.0.3e to mitigate the TPM Out-of-Bounds Read vulnerability (CVE-2025-2884) and enforces anti-rollback policies.
