The platform launched with version v1.17, establishing initial hardware support. Version v1.24 significantly refines system latency by integrating Microcode 0x114, which corrects Processor Power Management (PPM) logic to resolve frame-time spikes in gaming workloads, alongside fixes for the Auto Driver Installer. Stability for non-K (65W) Core Ultra SKUs is subsequently addressed in v1.24.AS04[Beta] via Microcode 0x116, which optimizes voltage regulation and reliability.

Feature Maturity & Hardware Support

Mid-cycle updates focus on memory architecture and maintenance releases. Version v1.28 implements Intel Maintenance Release 1 (MR1) and Microcode 0x117, enhancing signal integrity for high-speed CUDIMM DDR5 memory and enabling the DLRM state for storage power savings. Peripheral compatibility is improved in v2.03[Beta] to resolve Bluetooth audio device conflicts, while v2.06 integrates Maintenance Release 4 (MR4) and Microcode 0x11A alongside updated Management Engine firmware.

Critical Security & Power Management

Later firmware versions prioritize platform hardening and forward compatibility. Version v2.07 enforces Pre-boot DMA Protection and VT-d to secure IOMMU operations against direct memory access attacks. Support for upcoming processor architectures is enabled in v2.11. Finally, v3.21 applies Microcode 0x121 to update compatibility tables for future Intel Core Ultra processor steppings and upgrades the Management Engine to version 19.0.5.2175.
