Following the platform launch, firmware development focused on stabilizing peripheral connectivity and establishing operating system readiness. Version L1.24[Beta] introduces AGESA 1.2.0.3 Patch B to mitigate USB connectivity dropouts, a fix that is finalized in v1.30 with the integration of AGESA 1.2.0.3c. This update also enables the firmware TPM (fTPM) by default, ensuring native compliance with Windows 11 security requirements.

Feature Maturity & Hardware Support

Mid-cycle updates expand processor support and resolve system latency issues. Version 1.40 implements AGESA 1.2.0.6b, which enables official support and L3 V-Cache optimization for the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. The subsequent release, v1.50, updates the codebase to AGESA 1.2.0.7 to eliminate fTPM Stuttering caused by TPM key validation latency. Additionally, v1.60 addresses hardware conflicts to ensure stability with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards.

Critical Security & Power Management

Recent firmware prioritizes hardening the platform against high-severity vulnerabilities. Version 3.20 updates to AGESA 1.2.0.B, mitigating the Inception speculative side-channel exploit. Security patches continue in v3.40 and vL3.41[Beta], which address the LogoFAIL image parsing vulnerability. Version 3.46[Beta] integrates AGESA 1.2.0.Cc to patch the Sinkclose SMM lock bypass. Extended support versions v3.61[Beta] and v3.62[Beta] deploy AGESA 1.2.0.E and 1.2.0.F to resolve remaining SMM vulnerabilities and upgrade fTPM firmware, while v3.90 refreshes the Secure Boot Key database (KEK/DB/PK).
